From A Fan’s Perspective: Why I’m Excited For Second Sight 14
Second Sight 14 will be a historic event. Let this longtime fan tell you why.

Second Sight 14 will take place on April 26, 2025, at the Metrotent Convention Center. The lineup consists of eight battles, which are all for this year’s Isabuhay Tournament. I already have my ticket! How about you? If you’re still thinking about watching the event live, let me tell you why you absolutely should.
Firstly, the venue is once again the Metrotent Convention Center. One of the reasons why Bwelta Balentong 11 was so memorable for me is that aside from the historic battles and moments, the place is just perfect. Metrotent is huge, so it was able to fit a big crowd, thus giving it a very epic feel. Since it’s spacious, we were still comfortable despite it being packed. Believe me, watching a FlipTop event here is already an unforgettable experience.
Like what I said above, all of the battles in this event are for the 2025 Isabuhay. If you’re not excited about that, you’re lying! I feel like this year’s competition will be as unpredictable and exciting as the previous one. Just look at that impressive lineup. Each emcee represents a distinct style and has the potential to give us plenty of game-changing material. There’s also no “weak link”. They all have what it takes to perform at a high level and become a champion. When they say “expect the unexpected”, it certainly applies here. While we may have our favorites, don’t sleep on the rest of the lineup. Let’s just enjoy the battles and performances.
The first-round matches are perfect for battle rap fans. We’ll have style clashes, veterans vs up-and-comers, technical showcases, and comedic showdowns. Second Sight 14 is a supercard, and there will surely be plenty of early battle of the year contenders. Remember that these are all tournament matchups, so expect every rapper to give it their all. Apart from the battles and emcees, another great thing about watching FlipTop live is that you’ll meet fellow fans and end up being close friends. I remember going to my first ever event: Unibersikulo 11 in 2022. I went there alone but met two fans in the queue outside the venue. They also went there by themselves, so we decided to go together. We ate together afterwards and have been in contact since. Our group grew bigger in the following events, and at Second Sight 14, we’re going again. There are six of us now. Don’t be ashamed to have a conversation with the people there. Based on experience, they’re all friendly.
We bought SVIP pre-sale tickets for Second Sight 14. We weren’t able to go to Ahon 15 Day 3, but according to a friend who was there, the SVIP section is very close to the stage, and the food you’ve purchased from the booth will be delivered to you personally.
