Target has already competed in various freestyle battles way before the league was established. The Paranaque-born emcee decided to give the modern format a try by joining the first ever Second Sight event. He took on Luke and scored a 5-0 victory with ease. At Ahon 1, he faced Dello in what is now considered to be one of the best battles in FlipTop. Target may have lost the aforementioned match, but his performance still made him a top-tier rapper. Since then, he remained active and was able to gain a few notable victories. Apart from his off-the-dome skills, fans also praise his technical bars and aggressive delivery.
In October 2010, Target finally released his full-length solo album “It’s My Turn Now”. He has worked on various projects with his group DC Clan as well. Right now, he runs a successful YouTube channel, which aside from music, also features reactions and interviews with well-known names in the local hip-hop scene.
