Previously known as Ran, Onlison became part of the FlipTop roster after an impressive showing at the 2013 Mindfields Mindanao Tryouts. His heavy metaphors and witty angles quickly caught the attention of viewers. In his battle with Hizuka, he decided to incorporate comedic elements and was successful at it. His continuous mix of clever jokes and hard-hitting bars made him one of the most versatile emcees in the league today.
Battle rap is not the only thing Onlison excels at. He’s also a legit threat when it comes to making music. The Tagum and Davao representative has released various solo tracks and has appeared on the Writers’ Block Mindanao: Mind The Now compilation album. You can check out his bangers on his YouTube channel.
