Aklas was part of the very first Process of Illumination and despite not reaching the finals, his impressive freestyle skills were enough to land him a spot in the roster. On his debut match, the rapper from Las Pinas quickly made an impact with his aggressive delivery and hard-hitting lines. Some may say that he doesn’t really “rhyme” in his battles, but if you listen closely, you will realize that he has an unorthodox pen game. Without a doubt, he’s one of the very few emcees in FlipTop who has mastered “leftfield” style. In 2013, he joined the first Isabuhay Tournament and shocked everyone by beating crowd-favorite BLKD to become the champion.

Apart from the battle scene, Aklas also remains active in music. He has independently released 5 solo albums and 1 instrumental EP, all of which you can check out online. Before venturing into Hiphop, he was the vocalist of a metal band called “NOTIME”.
